Start Your Day with Social Media

Rather than saying that you don’t have time for Marketing Companies in San Diego and foregoing all of the advantages that can come with it, make the time.  We highly recommend that marketers and business owners block out a short amount of time first thing in the morning to check in on social media and to post new content. If you make this a part of your morning routine, much like checking your email inbox, it will begin to feel natural to do so, and you will find that you have more time to manage it than you thought.  At the start of the day, aim to do the following.  If handled correctly, these efforts will require just thirty minutes and can make a big difference for your business.

Check the Stats Once you have metrics tools in place, it will take mere minutes to check in and see how you are progressing.  If the statistics don’t look appealing, then you can make adjustments to your approach.  If they look great, it will give you a morale boost first thing in the morning.

Reply to Mentions, Comments and Shares Take the time to acknowledge the fact that others have interacted with you.  This will help to prolong the interaction and that can lead to another loyal customer.

Read and Catch Up Just like reading the newspaper, checking in on social media can tell you a lot about what is happening in the world, in your area, and in your industry.  Take a few minutes to read the headlines, check the trending hashtags, and to respond to- or to share interesting content.

Search Your Brand Do this on a search engine, on Google News, and on various social platforms.  Often people will mention brands without linking to them.  This will give you a chance to see what others are saying about you, may allow you to avoid negative comments and reviews, and is a great time to interact with new leads.

Check Up on the Competitors Don’t just search your own brand name, take a minute to research your closest competitors.  This insight can teach you a great deal about what is working and what isn’t.
